How We Started
We built what we
needed to exist.
It started in 2022 with two friends — Priya and Aditi — who had been trying to plan a solo trip together for years. Every time they searched for women's group travel, what they found was underwhelming: generic tours, unsafe conditions, or communities that just didn't feel like them.
So they created WanderHer. A space where the full spectrum of women — urban professionals, new mothers, recent graduates, divorcees, introverts, thrill-seekers — could come together and experience India's most dramatic landscapes in safety, community, and style.
Three years later, over 200 women have traveled with us. We've laughed around Himalayan bonfires, cried at Ganga Aartis, and watched each other become braver. That's what WanderHer is — not a tour company, but a transformation engine.
